Jaromir Jagr’s 13-game point streak was stopped Saturday. But the Pittsburgh star was back in full stride Sunday at Montreal.

Jagr had two goals and two assists as the Pittsburgh Penguins rallied to beat the Montreal Canadiens, 5-3.

“We switched the lines around a little bit and now we have three lines that can score goals and that helped,” said Jagr, who leads the NHL with 67 points. “We didn’t have that before and that’s a big advantage compared to other teams.”

German Titov scored the go-ahead goal late in the third period. Stu Barnes and Kip Miller also scored for the Penguins, who have won three straight.

Carolina 0, Boston 0--Carolina goalie Trevor Kidd, making a rare start, and Boston goalie Byron Dafoe, coming off a rare day off, tied at Boston.

Kidd survived eight shots on goal during two power plays in the last 10 minutes of the third period, then held off Tim Taylor’s attempt to jam the puck by him from the edge of the crease with 32 seconds remaining in overtime.

The Bruins outshot the Hurricanes, 36-24, and Dafoe faced fewer difficult shots than Kidd, who got his second shutout of the season.

Phoenix 5, Nashville 1--Keith Tkachuk had a goal and two assists and Jyrki Lumme scored the winning goal in his 700th NHL game, leading the Coyotes at Nashville.

Phoenix snapped a six-game road winless streak (0-3-3). The Coyotes are 21-5-8 with Tkachuk in the lineup, but only 4-7-1 without him.
