VILLA PARK

The City Council has awarded a contract to Ruiz Engineering of Long Beach to resurface several residential streets. At nearly $215,000, Ruiz was the lowest bidder; the city engineer’s estimate was $265,000. Streets to be improved under this year’s maintenance program are Rosenau Drive, Ridgeview Road, Villa Isle Drive, Villa Isle Circle, Ludwig Street north of Taft Avenue, Ragan Circle and Verde Lomas Circle. Also included are Winn Circle, Robble Circle, Oakwood Circle, Colony Grove Lane, El Moro Way, Haniger Way and Canyon Crest Drive.
