Chatsworth 1, Birmingham 0--The Chancellors (7-6-2, 7-4-2) upset the Patriots (8-1-4, 8-1-4) when Cesar Gurrola converted a 70th-minute penalty kick following Birmingham goalkeeper John Wall’s foul on Abdullah Safdari.

Sergio Zendejas made nine saves for Chatsworth. Birmingham is ranked No. 1 in The Times’ regional poll.
