BAX Global Adds Sales and Finance Exec

* James Schutzenhofer has joined BAX Global’s U.S. organization in Irvine as a divisional vice president. Schutzenhofer has responsibility for operations, sales and finance in the South Central U.S. division. He was previously vice president of operations at Roadway Global Air, president of Next Day Motor Freight and was with Emery Worldwide for 21 years.

* Ronald R. Williamson has been named tax partner of Squar, Milner & Reehl LLP in Newport Beach. He had been managing director of the Orange County office of BDO Seidman LLP for 10 years.

* Tom Hartmann has been selected director of worldwide field operations for ATL Products, an Irvine supplier of tape libraries for networked computers. Before joining the company, Hartmann was customer satisfaction manager for Cognex Corp. and director of worldwide field services for Industrial Dynamics Services Corp. He also has been responsible for a variety of customer service and technical support management roles at Calcomp/Lockheed Martin.

* Frederick Wagner has been named manager, connectivity systems group for Toshiba America Medical System in Tustin. Wagner joined the company in 1990 as manager, advanced applications, and in 1993 was named product manager, angiography. In 1996, he was named senior product manager, cardiology systems.

* Kenneth R. Gowen has been appointed senior vice president of human resources for Koo Koo Roo Enterprises Inc. in Irvine, formerly know as Family Restaurants Inc. Gowen joined Family Restaurants in 1994 as vice president, training for the Family Restaurant division, consisting of the Coco’s and Carrows chains, and assumed responsibilities for human resources and training in August 1995.

* Karen Benvie has been appointed human resources-officer manager for Lawrence & Mayo Advertising in Newport Beach. She was previously vice president of administration and human resources for P&D; Consultants and an administration manager for Toups Engineering Inc.

* Judith A. Legan has been appointed executive vice president of the South Coast Apartment Assn. in Irvine, which serves Orange and southern Los Angeles counties. She was formerly executive vice president of the Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley Assn. of Realtors and has served as senior vice president and director of governmental affairs for the Orange County Assn. of Realtors.

* Nancy Decious has been named staff vice president of the Anaheim/Orange County Visitors & Convention Bureau. She has been with the bureau for more than eight years as director of administration. Tom Bennett has been named a convention sales director. He had been national sales manager with the Long Beach Area Convention and Visitor Bureau. Kelly Peterson has joined the bureau as a convention housing manager. She was formerly human resources manager at the Holiday Inn Anaheim at the Park.

* Edward J. Machoskie has joined the Costa Mesa office of U.S. Trust Co., N.A. as vice president and senior business development officer. He was previously vice president of Union Bank of California’s Private Bank.

* Ronald A. Pierre and James R. Tennant have joined the board of directors of Hines Horticulture Inc. in Irvine, an operator of commercial nurseries. Pierre is president of Express Seed Co. Tennant is chairman and chief executive of Home Products International Inc.

* Juan M. Diaz has joined ASL Consulting Engineers in Irvine as manager, transportation services. He has more than 13 years of public and private sector experience.

* Andy Stameson has been appointed vice president and chief information officer of FileNet Corp. in Costa Mesa. Stameson previously held executive positions at Sprint PCS and Airtouch Cellular.

* Jane O’Donnell, head of the Irvine office of the law firm of Bullivant Houser Bailey, has been elected shareholder.

* Mark Kelly has been named vice president of marketing and product management, ATV and utility vehicles for Kawasaki Motors Corp., USA in Irvine. He had been director. Kelly was with the company from 1976 to 1982, and returned in 1994.

* Robert F. Allnutt has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of Cortex Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Irvine. He succeeds Harvey S. Sadow, who retired after serving on the board for more than 10 years. Allnutt has been on the board since 1995. He is a senior counselor for APCO Associates, Inc., a public affairs and strategic communications company.

* Jay Lambke has been named vice president of the government and education division of Ingram Micro Inc. in Santa Ana, a wholesale distributor of technology products and services. Lambke joined the company in 1996 as director of government and education field sales and last served as senior director. Rick Sbrocca has been appointed vice president and general manager of global small-medium business. He had been senior director. James B. Osweiler has been named vice president, information technology--worldwide, administration and support. He was formerly senior director, electronic commerce deployment for Ingram Micro’s information technology, worldwide. Frank Terence was named vice president of finance for Frameworks, Total Integration Services. Terence was most recently vice president of finance for Ingram Micro Latin America. Ruud van Nispen was appointed vice president of sales for Frameworks in Europe. He was previously a member of the board of Vobis Microcomputer A.G. in Aachen, Germany.
