Parents who want their child to start kindergarten at McPherson Magnet School in the fall must attend a meeting today or Tuesday to enter their names in a lottery. Families do not need to attend the 9 a.m. lottery drawing Wednesday to win one of the 33 open slots, but they must attend a preregistration meeting today at 9 a.m. or Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Both meetings will be held in the school’s cafeteria, 333 S.
