FULLERTON
Cal State Fullerton administrators have unveiled new commencement plans to answer students’ demands for a bigger and more accommodating ceremony. Administrators were deluged with complaints when plans for a university-wide ceremony were announced earlier this month. The morning ceremony--designed to create a stronger sense of community within the campus--was met with opposition because students were guaranteed only two tickets for guests. Titan Stadium seats only 10,000.
The ceremony will now be held in the sports fields, allowing for a crowd of more than 30,000 people. Each graduating senior is guaranteed at least five tickets.
