IRVINE
Padmini Parthasarathy, a senior in UC Irvine’s School of Social Ecology, was one of 20 students nationwide to be named to USA Today’s All-USA College Academic Team on Thursday. The UC regents scholar and chair of the March of Dimes National Youth Council was chosen from 983 nominees nationwide.
“This is really an honor, and I’m very excited about being chosen,” she said. In addition, USA Today honored her with a $2,500 cash award.
