Lansky’s Turn

Well, it finally happened! A movie about the last and most significant member of the “Kosher Nostra,” Meyer Lansky (“No Mob Mentality,” by David Gritten, Feb. 21).

I’m certain that outstanding actor that he is, Richard Dreyfuss will do (no pun intended) “justice” to the role, and though his name wasn’t mentioned in Gritten’s fine article, undoubtedly Lansky’s mentor, Arnold Rothstein, the only person Lansky truly admired, will be prominently featured in the HBO film.
