Looks Like Columnist Backed Into a Critic

In case Jay Adande hasn’t noticed, the only Pac-10 team to win its bowl game was the Arizona Wildcats.

What would have happened if Arizona had “backed into” the Rose Bowl, as Mr. Adande lamented in an earlier column? Perhaps the nation would have seen the best the Pac-10 has to offer--a program that excels by playing offense and defense.

I wonder how Mr. Adande will spin it next year when Arizona is vying for the national championship, and his beloved Bruins are shipped off to El Paso or Honolulu.
