FOUNTAIN VALLEY
The Orange County Water District has received the California Water Environment Assn.’s 1998 Public Education Award for its Groundwater Guardian Program Children’s Drinking Water Festival. The two-day festival featured a variety of activities for children and teachers in third, fourth and fifth grades. Activities were designed to teach children about water conservation and water pollution.
