Avalanche Signs Ozolinsh
All-Star holdout defenseman Sandis Ozolinsh signed a multiyear contract with the Colorado Avalanche, the team announced late Tuesday.
Ozolinsh will rejoin his team today and play against the Florida Panthers at Denver.
Terms of the deal were not announced.

Center Peter Zezel of the Vancouver Canucks will be sidelined for at least four weeks after being diagnosed with a small fracture in his left tibia.
Zezel suffered the injury after a clean body check from Montreal’s Trent McCleary on Saturday.
