BUENA PARK
City staff on Tuesday suggested changes to better promote tourism in the city’s entertainment corridor that lies mainly along Beach Boulevard.
The City Council during the study session heard recommendations to expand the entertainment corridor to adjacent streets and to change some of the zoning to eliminate retail businesses and bring in more entertainment-type businesses, such as hotels or restaurants. The City Council could vote on the issue as early as Jan. 26.
