* Bristol Street: Several items of clothing worth $450 were stolen from a store in the 3300 block between 4 and 6 p.m. Wednesday.

* Orangethorpe Avenue: A fistfight between two intoxicated people was reported in front of a bar in the 5400 block at 1:47 a.m. Friday. The two were sent home in cabs.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Los Alamitos Boulevard and Katella Avenue: Police found themselves playing dogcatcher when they chased a loose German shepherd and escorted it home at 2:35 a.m. Friday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Via San Jose: Report of a robbery alarm triggered in the 26000 block at 4:27 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Mariners Drive: A car stereo was stolen and a window was broken in a car parked in the 1300 block sometime Tuesday evening.

ORANGE

* South Olive Street and West Chapman Avenue: An assault with a dangerous weapon was reported at 2 a.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* La Jolla Street: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 100 block at 4:41 p.m. Sunday.
