Hoping to help more victims of crime, Dist. Atty. Michael D. Bradbury has announced the creation of a partnership between his office’s Victim Services division and east county law enforcement agencies.
Starting this week, a victim services advocate will be based at the east valley sheriff’s station, 2101 E. Olsen Road, in Thousand Oaks.
Advocates offer assistance with restraining orders in domestic violence cases, compensation claims to the state, orientation to the criminal justice system, support during court cases, referrals, crisis intervention and updates on pending criminal cases.
The advocate can be reached at 494-8257 or 654-3622.
