LA HABRA
The La Habra Old Settlers’ Historical Society has donated 10 trees to the La Habra City School District to commemorate the city’s Founders Day. The city was founded Jan. 20, 1925. One tree will be given to each of the district’s nine schools and one to the district office. The donation is part of “Heritage 2000,” a project to plant 2,000 trees by the end of 2001.
