NEWPORT BEACH
Business owners are giving a thumbs-up to proposed new directional signs for Balboa Village after seeing a prototype the city installed at Balboa Boulevard and Palm Street.
City Council members will vote tonight whether to permanently place similar signs throughout the peninsula’s business districts. Community Development Block Grant money would pay for the cost of the $40,000 sign program.
