SAN CLEMENTE
The San Clemente Ocean Festival is coming July 17-18 to the pier. The festival includes volleyball, surfing, swim, a beach run and sand-sculpting competitions. Historical, surf and ocean art exhibits and a classic Woody car show round out the festival.
Other highlights include a beach party and a live surf band, a Waterman and Waterwoman endurance competition and a rubber duck race. T-shirt sales from the event benefit local service organizations. Information: (949) 440-6141.
