‘Significant Other’ Makes a Double Play on the Charts
Limp Bizkit’s resounding arrival at the top of both the national and the Southern California charts adds a strong rock note to the lists, whose diversity is also enhanced by the arrivals of R&B;’s K-Ci & JoJo and rap’s Missy Elliott. They join a list that also features the Latin-flavored pop of Ricky Martin, the teen pop of the Backstreet Boys, the adult-pop of Phil Collins “Tarzan” songs and the punk-rock of Blink-182.
