Mall Adds Play Area to Attract Shoppers

The Fallbrook Mall has a new attraction for kids, a carousel with 24 animated figures, including a zebra, a variety of colorful horses and two chariots.
The merry-go-round, which opened last week, is 25 feet high and can accommodate 30 riders at one time.
Mall officials expect the carousel, which anchors its new play area, to attract more shoppers with children.
“It’s a very valuable asset for a mall,” said shopping center spokeswoman Marie Garcia. “We’re proud to say that now we’re the only mall within a 10-mile radius with a carousel.”
The colorful ride was manufactured by S&S; Woodcarvers and American Amusements in Orange County.
A ride on the carousel costs $1.25.
