* Pop. The third and final Lilith Fair arrives on July 16 at Coors Amphitheatre with a main-stage lineup of Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, the Dixie Chicks, Mya and Luscious Jackson. * Theater. Celebrating Duke Ellington’s 100th birthday, “Play On!,” the musical conceived and directed by Sheldon Epps, with book by Cheryl L. West and songs by Ellington, in a 1940s Harlem setting, opens July 18 at 5 p.m. at the Pasadena Playhouse, 39 S. * Movies. The George Cukor Centennial Retrospective film series kicks off on July 15 at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with a screening of the 1932 film “What Price Hollywood?” and a panel discussion moderated by film critic Richard Schickel. The series will then move to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Bing Theater for Friday and Saturday night screenings through Aug. 21.
