Police Hunt for Man Who Robbed Bank
Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Thousand Oaks bank Friday afternoon.
The man approached a teller at California Federal Bank in the 3900 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard about 12:50 p.m. and pulled up his shirt to reveal a handgun.
He demanded cash and then ran onto Thousand Oaks Boulevard, where he was last seen running through the parking lot toward Westlake Boulevard.
The man is described as 6-feet, 1-inch tall, between 35 and 40 years old and African-American. He was cleanshaven and wore a black ball cap, a yellow shirt and black pants. He also wore gold-rim prescription glasses and carried a black attache case.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 494-TALK or 385-TALK. If the tip leads to an arrest, a reward of up to $1,000 can be earned.
