IRVINE
The Community Services Commission last week picked the name of the city’s first dog park: Central Bark. Although the names the Barking Lot and Canine Canyon received some initial discussion--from a staggering list of more than 100 suggestions--commissioners quickly took to Central Bark; it received two thumbs up from the four commissioners present.
