James Circle resident Eileen Desantis has been installed as an officer of Chapman University’s Town and Gown support group. Desantis, 61, is serving as third vice president in charge of membership and recruitment for the 1999-2000 year. Her plans to increase membership include a fall membership jamboree and offering corporate memberships, a first for the organization. Town and Gown makes contributions for student scholarships as well as to the construction of Wallace All Faiths Chapel, scheduled to break ground on campus later this year.
