O.C. EARNINGS
Nationwide Health Properties Inc.: The Newport Beach real estate investment trust that invests in health care facilities reported second quarter net income of $15.3 million, or 33 cents a share, which included a loss of $335,000 on the sale of facilities. Net income for the 1998 second quarter was $16.2 million, or 37 cents a share. Funds from operations increased 8% to $24.7 million, or 54 cents a share, from $22.9 million, or 51 cents a share.
