The City Council recently awarded a $370,000 contract for the construction of a sewer rehabilitation project in the Emerald Bay area to Topline Construction. Although the project originally was budgeted at $220,000, it was discovered during the final design that a section of the line involved was smaller than the rest and must be replaced at a cost of $100,000. The additional $50,000 will pay for four new manholes to allow maintenance access to the line. Information: (949) 497-0750.
