LAGUNA HILLS
The new Community Center’s water display will feature a 2-foot-deep trough wrapping around the plaza, filling up bowls of varying heights before streaming back to the source. That’s the design chosen this week by the City Council. The sound of falling water should drown out traffic noise, architect David Volz said.
The Community Center--scheduled to open in 2001 at Alicia Parkway and Paseo de Valencia--will include sports fields, a skate park and a multimedia room.
