LAKE FOREST
The City Council recently voted 4 to 0, with Councilwoman Helen Wilson absent, to continue participating in a multi-city gang prevention program. The project, which involves the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, includes intensive supervision of gang-related offenders on probation, community education programs and counseling for at-risk youth. The program will cost the city $26,466 this year.
