Expanded Coverage of Personal Technology

Personal technology--from cyberspace to consumer electronics to personal computing to telecommunications--is transforming our lives in dramatic ways.

Now each Thursday in Business, The Times is offering expanded coverage of this fast-changing world with a weekly page or pages devoted to news, trends and advice on personal technology.

“Cutting Edge: Focus on Personal Technology” will build on the section’s special tech coverage in Monday’s Cutting Edge pages and every day in Business. It will contain an Internet Guide offering recommendations of useful Web sites and a listing of Internet events for the week. Some columns and features that have appeared in Monday’s Cutting Edge, such as Gamers’ Corner and Telecom Talk, will now appear Thursdays.

Monday’s pages will continue to cover personal technology, as well as new developments, tech investing and the business of technology.
