The Planning Commission last week decided not to allow the Rev. Ki Ho Kim to operate a church in a multi-tenant commercial building at 3700-3710 W. Valencia Drive, at the southwest corner of Valencia Drive and Magnolia Avenue. The commission said the site, a former dentist office, does not lend itself to church use. Commissioners expressed special concern about potential overflow parking, said City Planner Andrew Kusch. Kim’s architects are revising the church plans and must come back to the Planning Commission for approval. Information: (714) 738-6547.
