The city is registering children for its Summer Fun cooking class for ages 6 to 12 and its Paws & Jaws & Nature Laws class for preschoolers. The classes will be held Tuesdays, beginning Aug. 3 through Aug. 24. The young chefs will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. and will learn basic cooking skills and kitchen safety while making a variety of fun summer foods.
Preschool-age children and their parents will meet from 10 to 11 a.m. to explore the wonders of nature from the ocean to the mountains and all the creatures in between with hands-on activities and crafts. The classes, which cost $25, will meet at City Hall, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150. (949) 707-2680.
