Gunman Targets Two Apartments; No One Injured
Residents were awakened Friday morning by gunshots fired into two Huntington Beach apartments, police said.
No one was injured.
At 4:20 a.m., gunshots tore though an apartment window in the 17100 block of Springdale Street, said Lt. Louis Ochoa.
About 10 minutes later, a witness reported observing a gunman firing several rounds from a handgun into the living room and kitchen windows of an apartment in the 6700 block of Warner Avenue, Ochoa said.
Police officials believe the same gunman is responsible for both incidents.
The witness to the second shooting said the gunman left the scene in a light-colored sedan.
