Starting Aug. 1, infants and toddlers under age 2 can get special kid-size airline seats at no extra charge aboard British Airways, officials announced. The car-seat-like contraptions, attached to the bulkhead, must be booked in advance. . . . American Express is selling yacht club memberships for $775 that allow you to view the America’s Cup 2000 races from the Auckland, New Zealand, club’s floating facility. Trials for the sailing regatta begin this October, and the race runs through March 2000. Card members can purchase membership for the entire period. . . . The Cancun Convention & Visitors Bureau has a new Internet site, https://www.gocancun.com. In addition to lodging, attractions and other information about the Mexican resort area, the site gives weather data for the current day and data going back five years. . . . Proving that no job is too humble, the London Tourist Board has honored a bathroom attendant with a special award for her services to tourism. “I love the job. I honestly wouldn’t want to do anything else in the world,” said Carol Champion, who tends the public bathrooms in the suburb of Lewisham and was praised for being caring, committed and selfless.
