A Santa Ana businessman who is proposing to build a 13,540-square-foot retail center on nearly two acres on Main Street between McFadden Avenue and Cubbon Street recently asked the City Council if he could build a parking lot on a small piece of land nearby on Cypress Avenue. The City Council approved the request and issued a conditional use permit.
