On Assignment’s Net Income Up $3.48 Million

On Assignment Inc., Calabasas, reported net income of $3.48 million for the second quarter ended June 30, up from $2.73 million for the same quarter in 1998. Revenues were $39.27 million, up from $32.51 million.

The company provides temporary professionals to the scientific, health care, financial and environmental industries with 129 branches in 64 operational markets across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
