LAGUNA WOODS
The City Council today will vote on a contract with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to provide police services. The $674,000 proposed agreement will include daily patrol coverage from 6 a.m. to midnight, a part-time criminal investigator and a full-time community services officer to handle crime prevention, investigate accidents and public relations. The council meets at 2 p.m. at the Leisure World administration building board room, 23522 Paseo de Valencia.
