A group of students in Camp Fire Boys and Girls will put on a play today at Brookhurst Junior High School dealing with the issues of teen sex and pregnancy. The play, which organizers say provides positive messages about abstinence and contraception, is a part of Camp Fire’s “Teen Scenes” program and is impartial in its presentation, said Lisa Liken, program administrator. In fact, she said, the play is written by teenagers for teenagers: “This is from a teen’s point of view. They see the problems created by having children at 14 years old and they are also aware of AIDS.”
Performances are at 8 a.m., 8:50 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Brookhurst Junior High is at 601 N. Brookhurst St.
