Data Processing Profits Jump 59% on Higher Sales

Data Processing Resources Corp., a Newport Beach provider of information technology staffing services, posted record profits and revenue for the third quarter. Net income grew 59% to $5.1 million, or 33 cents a share, from $3.2 million, or 23 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter ended April 30 was up 32% to $93.2 million from $70.4 million.
