Police are looking for a man who robbed a Thousand Oaks doughnut shop and fled on foot.
The robber walked into Donut Depot in the 2300 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard just after 5 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.
A clerk told investigators that the man began punching buttons on a cash register and appeared to be holding a gun under his shirt. He ordered the clerk to open the register and then ran out with an undisclosed amount of cash, investigators said.
Sheriff’s patrols searched the area but were unable to locate the robber. Anyone with information is asked to call the East Valley Major Crimes Unit at 494-8201.
