Doug Kimberly has been selected principal of Brea Olinda High School by the district’s Board of Education. Kimberly will take over the post July 1 from interim Principal Denise Jay. A graduate of Esperanza High School in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District, Kimberly first entered the education field as teacher and water polo coach at his alma mater. In 1997, he took a job at Brea Olinda High School as assistant principal of student services.
