Antiques and Accessories at Garden Show

The Antique & Garden Show, through Sunday, features 60 exhibitors showcasing antiques and garden accessories.

The show is being held on the tented field across from the Decorative Arts Villa, 31431 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano. Exhibits are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Speaking today:

* 9 a.m. Jan Weverka, gardening consultant and author, on “Organically Romantic Floral Arrangements.” Free.

* 1 p.m. Marian McEvoy, editor-in-chief of Elle Decor, on “12 Steps to Style.” $10.

* 3 p.m. Julian Dowle, landscape designer and nine-time recipient of the Chelsea Flower Show award, on “English Country in Your Garden.” $10.

There are no speakers Sunday. Signed copies of books from Friday’s speakers are available, including “Living With Dogs” by Laurence and Carol Sheehan (Clarkson Potter/Publishers, 1999, $50); “Garden Ornaments” by Martha Baker (Clarkson Potter/Publishers, 1999, $40); and “Shabby Chic: Treasure Hunting & Decorating Guide” by Rachel Ashwell (Regan Books, 1998, $30). Dowle will be available to offer landscape advice.

Admission is $15, which includes a collector catalog. Proceeds from ticket sales and lectures benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Canine Companions for Independence and the Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley.
