The Texas Rangers put pitcher Mark Clark on the 15-day disabled list because of soreness in his right elbow. The right-hander pitched 1 1/3 innings in Saturday’s 7-4 loss to the Boston Red Sox. Clark will have tests on his elbow when the club returns to Texas on Tuesday. He has complained of stiffness in his elbow over his last three or four starts. The Rangers called up Danny Kolb from triple-A Oklahoma to replace Clark on the roster.
