The Laguna Canyon Foundation will hold a “wire-cutting” ceremony Tuesday to celebrate the addition of 2,070 acres to the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. The new land comes from the Irvine Co. as a condition of developing its coastal property. The park will total 5,215 acres and will include Buck Gully, upper Emerald Canyon, Los Trancos Canyon and the ridges above downtown Laguna.
