City officials are hosting a field trip today for a group of students from Katella High School’s Regional Occupational Program to tour the city’s largest housing project in nearly 30 years, the Serena Housing complex. Building official Phillip Ramos said the tour of the gated community, under construction in the 7750 block of Katella Avenue, gives students a firsthand look at how single-family homes are built.
