Tour Halted After Forum Injury: Marilyn Manson’s Sunday show at the Great Western Forum was halted about 45 minutes into his set after the flamboyant singer severely sprained his ankle. Manson has also called off shows tonight at the San Diego Sports Arena, Wednesday in Las Vegas and Thursday in Phoenix. The tour, which was also hit by co-headliner Hole’s previously reported withdrawal after the Forum show, will resume Sunday in Houston with Manson and opening act Monster Magnet. Manson had slightly injured his right ankle during Saturday’s Arrowhead Pond show and had it taped by the Los Angeles Kings’ trainer before the Forum appearance. But it gave way when he jumped off a platform onto the stage, and he collapsed in pain. The show was halted, and the crowd exited in orderly fashion. The controversial performer was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and told to stay off his feet for a week. It’s uncertain whether the three missed dates will be rescheduled. There will be no refunds for the Forum show, promoters said, since co-headliner Hole played and Manson did more than half his set, but discussions are being held about a possible return L.A. engagement.

Culkin’s Family Sued Over Fire: Actor Macaulay Culkin’s family has been hit with an $80-million lawsuit resulting from a Dec. 23 fire that broke out in their high-rise Manhattan apartment and killed four people. The suit seeks $20 million each for sisters Lisa Percansky, 36, and Romy Percansky, 27, who suffered smoke inhalation and other injuries, as well as $40 million on behalf of Random House publishing executive Wanda Chappell, who died in the blaze. The fire began in the Culkin family’s 19th-floor apartment; the suit claims Culkin’s mother, Patricia Brentrup, was grossly negligent by leaving the apartment door open when fleeing the fire, thus allowing smoke to spread throughout the building. Culkin, 18, had moved out of the apartment prior to the fire.
