LA HABRA
La Habra High School teacher John Baker has been selected as the Fullerton Joint Union High School District’s nominee for the Sallie Mae Award, a national recognition program for outstanding first-year teachers. Baker, who graduated from Cal State Fullerton, teaches freshman honors English and drama classes. Baker also has been named to the board of directors for the La Habra Depot Playhouse.
