Store Owner Shot to Death by Robbers
LONG BEACH —
The owner of a jewelry and music store was shot to death Monday when four men burst into his shop, demanded cash and began scooping up merchandise, according to police.
The noon shooting at the Music Collection claimed the life of Gary Kim, 30, of Downey. A clerk escaped injury, police said. Detectives said they did not know why the robbers opened fire. Kim reportedly offered no resistance.
