Seattle Has Little Trouble With Zodiac

Mark Baena got two shots past goalkeeper Mike Littman to help the Seattle Sounders defeat the Zodiac, 4-1, in an A--League soccer game Friday at Santa Ana Stadium.
Baena scored his first goal in the 26th minute unassisted. The Sounders struck again in the 39th minute with a goal from Ian Russell.
Russell assisted on Baena’s goal in the 69th minute. Kieran Barton extended the Sounders’ lead with a goal in the 86th minute.
Brian Engesser spoiled Preston Burpo’s shutout with a goal in the 88th minute for the Zodiac. Burpo made seven saves for Seattle.
Littman made two saves for the Zodiac.
