The Times Orange County publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:

BREA

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported at 2:46 p.m. Saturday.

* Imperial Highway: A petty theft was reported in the 900 block at 2:41 p.m. Saturday.

* Walnut Avenue: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 500 block at 4:18 p.m. Saturday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Warner Avenue: Someone tried to cash a forged check in the 8900 block at 6:56 p.m. Saturday. The store manager refused to cash the check, and the person was arrested by police in the parking lot after leaving the store.

FULLERTON

* Chapman Avenue at State College Boulevard: A DUI arrest was made at 1:52 a.m. Tuesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Lewis Street: Police were looking for two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery in the 12000 block at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday. The robbers assaulted one employee with a knife and displayed a silver semiautomatic handgun. No one was injured. Cash and purses were taken from the victims, and some office equipment may be missing.

* Russell Street at Brookhurst Street: Two people stole a vehicle belonging to a pizza deliveryman at 9 p.m. Monday. A police officer spotted the vehicle at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday near Brookhurst Street and Lampson Avenue. A chase ensued to Anaheim, where the driver lost control, drove through a fence, and came to rest on the front lawn of a residence. Both suspects attempted to flee on foot but were caught.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Newland Street at Pacific Coast Highway: A man suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation when his mobile home caught fire at 4:26 p.m. Tuesday. Estimated loss is $110,000. The cause is under investigation.

* Warner Avenue: A woman said her ex-fiance took a hammer and wrecked her car, which was parked in the 6100 block; reported at 8:44 a.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Cabot Road: A Hewlett-Packard inkjet printer valued at $125 was stolen from a business in the 25200 block sometime between 3 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

* Laguna Hills Mall: A woman in her 20s approached another woman in the parking lot and told her that her tire was going flat. When the victim bent down to check the tire, the woman ran away with the victim’s purse; reported at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The contents of the purse were valued at about $120.

* Mill Creek Drive: Report of graffiti on the wall next to a trash bin in the 23200 block at 1:15 p.m. Monday.

* Vespucci Road: A man reported that two credit cards and a driver’s license were stolen from his wallet, which was in the console of his truck in the 25300 block. Several charges were made on the credit cards, which were reported stolen at 1:25 p.m. Monday.

LAKE FOREST

* Okeechobee Lane: A contractor reported at 2:50 p.m. Sunday that miscellaneous property has been stolen from an unlocked residence that is being remodeled in the 24000 block.

* Palmwood at Peachwood: Deputies stopped a car for a vehicle code violation at 12:30 a.m. Monday. They determined the driver had an outstanding arrest warrant and was under the influence of drugs. The driver was arrested for the warrant and driving under the influence of drugs.

MISSION VIEJO

* Avenida Calidad: An abandoned vehicle was found in the 26000 block at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday.

* Charlinda Drive: A suspicious person was reported in the 25000 block at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Cagney Lane: Someone stole $1,400 worth of bicycles from an underground garage in the 200 block; reported at 9:45 a.m. Monday.

* Muir Beach Circle: A man reported that his car was missing at 4:30 p.m. Monday. It was believed to have been taken by a family member without permission.

* Abalone: Someone took a laptop computer worth $3,100 from an unlocked car trunk in the 200 block; reported at 7:20 a.m. Monday.

ORANGE

* Orange Freeway at Orangewood Avenue: Authorities removed a wood palate that was blocking a lane of the freeway at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday.

PLACENTIA

* Magnolia Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 1000 block at 2:34 p.m. Friday.

* Kraemer Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 800 block at 10:26 a.m. Friday.

* Porter Lane: A burglary was reported in the 500 block at 10:36 a.m. Friday.

VILLA PARK

* Loma Street: Report of an audible burglary alarm in the 9000 block at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday.

* Taft Avenue: Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 18000 block at 2:11 p.m. Tuesday.

* Taft Avenue: Report of a parking violation in the 18000 block at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday.

* Serrano Avenue: Report of a parking violation in the 17000 block at 6:50 p.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Douglas Lane: A petty theft was reported in the 5300 block at 10:02 a.m. Saturday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ALISO VIEJO

* Elmbrook: A Rolex watch was reported stolen from a house in the 100 block during an open house between Friday and Sunday. The theft was reported at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday.

FOOTHILL RANCH

* Towne Center Drive: A burglar alarm sounded in the 25000 block at 5:51 a.m. Monday.
