STANTON
The City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to grant fireworks licenses to eight nonprofit organizations to sell state-approved “safe and sane” fireworks for the Fourth of July. A city ordinance adopted four years ago mandates an application process and selection criteria for approving fireworks licenses. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in chambers, 7800 Katella Ave.
