Rev. Schriner to Lead Program on Racial Inclusiveness

The Rev. Chris Schriner and members of the Social Action Committee will present “The Color of Fear: Moving Beyond Distrust Toward Racial Inclusiveness” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Laguna Beach. Pastor William McLaughlin will speak on “Our Church With Its Differences” during the Re-Membering meeting for inactive Catholics at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish Church. McLaughlin will discuss Scripture, morality, birth control, faith communities and more. Memorial Day Services

The Crystal Cathedral and the Rev. Robert Schuller will welcome Rear Adm. A. Byron Holderby and Air Force chaplain Maj. Robert Stroud to the pulpit at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday in honor of Memorial Day. Musical guests Lynette Tapia and Blake Ewing will perform. Temple Beth Emet is pleased to announce the appointment of Margalit Moskowitz as the director of education. Tustin Presbyterian Church will honor pastor Jack Barrell during a farewell ceremony at 9 a.m. Sunday in the Fellowship Hall. Local dignitaries and professional colleagues will attend. The church has increased its membership, strengthened its faith and improved its financial position since Barrell arrived in November 1993.
